It has been a rough start to the school year for me and I’m having a hard time getting into a regular routine. We have been very busy and I’ll work backward for the next few days to catch everyone up. We went to the campout at Skyway, Jerry took Elaine to the Avalanche pre season game at the AFA, had a great time with Brooksie and Aunt Katie, went to Sunday on the Town, had a great time at the anniversary of our local fire department and had fun with Grandma and Papa at the balloon festival. We’ve had a lot going on and I promise to be better about documenting!
Tonight was the first Camping with the Comets campout at Skyway. Families could set up tents and spend the night at school and lots of families plan to do so. We, however, just went to hang out for a while and came home to sleep in the warmth of our house. Elaine got some play time with Lane and got to see Baby Owen whom she adores. She also got to taste her first s’more which she liked, but she’s not a big fan of fires (I’m ok with that one, for sure!). Someone set up 4 huge telescopes and Elaine got to see the moon and Jupiter with 4 of its moons very clear. Next year, maybe we’ll actually stay there, who knows!?
